Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "F. H. Cowden, Harrisburg." 
 
This is the mark of John Wallace Cowden who ran the company with this stamp from 1880-1888 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 55-58)
 
This beauty features the a Small Preserve Jar Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Stenciled Snowflake in Cobalt Blue.  Stands 9 1/4" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Some scattered light staining from use.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
