Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "F. H. Cowden, Harrisburg." 
 
This is the mark of John Wallace Cowden who ran the company with this stamp from 1880-1888 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 55-58)
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and an Elaborate Stenciled Snowflake in Cobalt Blue Positioned in a Diamond Pattern. Stands 13 3/4" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A small chip on the spout and base in the making and glazed over.  A salt drip on the back also in the making.
