Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and stamped by "F. B. Norton Sons, Worcester, Mass."
 
This is the mark of Frank Norton and his Sons who operated the pottery in Worcester using this stamp from 1868-1886 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 52-53).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash on the Shoulder, and Bright Cobalt Dove on a Plume Decoration.  This was one of Norton's signature decorations and is typically found with gorgeous cobalt like this jug exhibits.  Stands 14 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Four shallow chips on the spout (1/8" to 1/2") and some light staining near the bottom.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
