Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Superb Little 1 Gallon Stoneware Cream Pot made and stamped by "F. B. Norton & Co., Worcester, Mass."
This is the mark of Franklin Norton and Frederick Hancock during the period of 1858 to 1876 ("The F. B. Norton Pottery: Stoneware of Every Description." Worcester Historical Museum, 1980-1981).
This beauty features a Small Size, Squatty Form, Semi-Squared Rim, Pottery Stamp, and Bright Brushed Cobalt Stylized Floral. This was one of Norton's signature decorations and is typically found with gorgeous cobalt like this crock exhibits. It really pops! Stands 8 1/4" tall.
