Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Jug made by the "E. P. Co., PA, New Brighton."
 
This is the mark of the Enterprise Pottery Company of New Brighton, Pennsylvania that ran from the 1870's to the 1920's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, p. 142).
 
Made about 1900, this beauty features a Beehive Form, Two Colored Glaze, and the Company Logo made of 4 Keystones formed into a Medallion and representing Pennsylvania as the keystone state. Stands  Measures 16" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Scattered light water glass staining.  That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
