Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug whose decoration indicates that it was made by Daniel Shenfelder of Reading, Pennsylvania.
 
Daniel Shenfelder made pottery in Reading, Pennsylvania from approximately 1860-1900 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 24-26).
 
This beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Freehand Tulip Decoration. The tulip is the Shenfelder design of 12 base leaves and a blossom with 4 petals. Stands 11 1/4" tall.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  Salt drip on the front in the making.
