Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug whose decoration indicates was made by Daniel Shenfelder of Reading Pennsylvania.
 
Daniel P. Shenfelder potted in Reading from the 1870's to the 1890's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 21-26).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size and of Shenfelder's signature decoration, a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  The tulip has two sections of leaves and a blossom with four petals-- all on a diagonal.  Stands 16" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition. As made.  No damage of any kind.  Small stone protrusions on the back in the making (closeup).
