Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Merchant Jug made for the "Cushing Process So., 568 Washington St., Boston."  
 
The shape of the spout indicates that it was made by F. T. Wright & Son, Taunton, Massachusetts (1856-1860).
 
This beauty features a Warm Gray Salt Glaze and the Company Advertising Stamped on the Shoulder and Washed in Cobalt.  Stands 13 5/8" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Four chips on the spout (1/8" to 1/2").  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
