Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Cowden & Wilcox, Harrisburg, PA."
 
This is the mark of John Wallace Cowden and Isaac Wilcox who ran the pottery in Harrisburg with this stamp from 1863 to 1880 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 55-58).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Chrysanthemum Blossom in Bright and Shiny Cobalt.  Measures 7 1/2" tall and 8 1/4" wide across the top,
 
Very Good Condition,  Some scattered light stains, a 1/2" colored chip inside the rim (closeup), and two 2" nearly invisible hairlines the rim in the back (closeup to the left of the chip).  No outer rim or base chips, cracks, or restoration.
