Circa 1900, this beauty features a Simple Rim, Rounded Sides, Substantial Footers, and Very Careful, Patterned Sponging. Measures 3 1/4" tall and 6 1/4" wide across the top.
Not a commonly seen shape for spongeware bowls.
Excellent Condition. A pinhead-size nibble and a 1/4" chip on the outside of the rim (closeup). No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
