Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this most unusual 2 Gallon Jug that I am attributing to Massachusetts or New York.
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Folky Bird on a Branch Decoration. The hollow eye is similar to birds from the Edmands pottery in Charlestown, MA. Stands 14 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 5/8" chip on the back of the spout and some light scattered staining from use. That's it! No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
