Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this exceptional Tobacco Humidor made and stamped on the bottom by the "General Ceramics Co., New York City."

Made in the 1920's, this beauty is in the Form of a Barrel with Lid.  What is unusual is the bust on the top.  It is of Al Smith, governor of New York for four terms and the Democratic presidential candidate in 1928.  The bust is finely molded.  Stands 7 1/2" tall to the top of Mr. Smith's head.

Excellent Condition.  The base has some chips inside the rim on one side (closeup).  The lid has a narrow 7/8" chip on the underside.  No other chips or any hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration on either piece.
