Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made for "Hutchings & Vandewater, Family Grocers, No. 117 Monroe St., N. York."
 
Dating around 1870, this beauty features Three Lines of Impressed Advertising with Cobalt Wash and a Freehand Floral Leaf.  Stands 11 3/8" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  Three minor 1/8" nibbles on the spout toward the back, a light stain run on the left side, and four chips on the base (1/8" to 1/2").  No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
