Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Haxstun, Ottman & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Andrew K. Haxstun and William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1867-1872 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports a clear pottery stamp and a Cute Little Bird on a Branch Decoration.  This woodland scene is executed with a slip cup in very bright cobalt blue.  Stands 11 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  An 1/8" chip on the spout, a 3/8" flat chip on the underside, and scattered light staining from use.  That's it! No hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
