  • Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Double-Handled Jar made and stamped front and back by the "West Troy, N.Y. Pottery."

     

    it was made for "Benj. Spear, Springfield, Mass."  

     

    Dating to the mid-19th century, this beauty sports an Uncommon Double-Handled Jar Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and the Script Advertising.  Looks very much like a trophy!  The blue is bright and beautiful, and the clay light and clean.  Measures 14 3/4" tall.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A faint line down the left side of the left handle and across the bottom of the handle like an "L" (closeup).  Never detached. That's it!  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
