Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar made and lightly stamped by the "Ottman Bro's & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).
 
This beauty sports the pottery stamp and a Large Cobalt Bird on a Branch in Bright Cobalt.  Looks like he is about to jump off!  Stands 13".
 
Very Good Condition.  A few nibble on the inner seating ring from use with a lid, and some staining from use.   No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
