Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Merchant Jug made for "R. Lawrence & Bro., 244 & 246 South Pearl St., Albany, N.Y."
Dating around 1880, this jug features the Desirable 1/2 Gallon Size and Four Lines of Block Cobalt Advertising. Stands 9 1/2" tall.
Very Good Condition. Two minor nibbles and 2 chips on the spout (1/4", 1/2"), two small surface pings above the lettering (1/2"), a small chip at the base (1/4"), and overall light staining from use.
A great small piece of Albany history!
