Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made in Southwestern Pennsylvania.
 
Circa 1875, this beauty features the Wax Sealer Form, Tooled Rim and Shoulder, Rounded Sides, and a Large Stenciled Rose Sitting under a Canopy of Five Leaves.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A single 3/8" chip inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Glaze skips on the inner rim and a 1 1/2" surface drying line from the inner rim down inside-- both in the making.
