Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 8" Wax Sealer Canning Jar from SW Pennsylvania.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Top Groove for the Hot Wax to Seal a Metal Cap Over the Top, and Two Stripes the Frame Comma Vining. The cobalt is rich and the glaze a light gray for a visual pleasing contrast. Stands 8 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" chip inside the rim. That's it! No outer rim or base chips, hairllines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
