Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this super 6 Gallon Stoneware Churn from the Midwest.  

 

Circa 1870, this beauty features a Larger Size, a Capacity Number "6" with Center Swirl and Dash Accents, and a Large Floral with Nine Leaves and a Blowsoom with Many Loops and Stripes.  Stands 18" tall.  

 

Very Good Condition. A wear spot on the inside bottom from use with a dasher, small chips around the inner lid-seating ring, a 1/2" chip on the rim by the right handle, and surface wear from use.  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration. Fine bubbles in the thicker cobalt in the making.
