Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Extraordinary 3 Gallon Blue and White Spongware Stoneware "Buck Wheat" Canister.  
 
Circa 1900, this beauty features an Unusually Large Size, Barrel Shape, Large Lettering in Deep Cobalt, and Cobalt Sponging all Around the Surface.  Stands 12" tall. 
 
This is only the second spongeware canister this size I have ever seen. 
 
Excellent Condition.  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. A half-dozen small stone pops on the front in the making.
