Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar from Southwestern Pennsylvania.  
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Tooled Rim and 6 Freehand Cobalt Stripes Down the Front.  Stands 8 1/2" tall.
 
As you know, 6 stripers are not common. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Minor nibbles inside the rim and light surface wear.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The 1" chip on the back at the bottom is in the making and glazed over.
