Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 6 Gallon Stoneware Churn from SE Ohio.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Larger Size, Brushed Cobalt Capacity Number Framed by Stripes on Top and Bottom and Leaves on the side. Comes with an Old Churn Guide and Dasher. Stands 17 1/2" tall.
Very Good Condition. Minor chips around the inner lid seating ring, a 1" chip inside the rim, and a very faint y-shaped vertical hairline from the bottom of the right leaf to near the base. No outer rim or base chips, cracks, stains, or restoration. Roughness inside the rim is in the making.
