Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Pitcher from Baltimore, Maryland.
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Classic Pitcher Form with Tooled Rim and Shoulder, Short Neck, Bulbous Body, and Brushed Cobalt Decoration. There are four leaves around the spout and neck, and four around the body. Strong contrast between the light gray glaze and dark cobalt decoration. Stands 10 1/2" tall.
Good Condition with Restoration. There is restoration to the spout (closeup 1), and a glued line at the base of the handle (closeup 2). Otherwise, no chips, hairlines, cracks, or stains. An imperfection on the rim in the back in the making (closeup 3).
