Item 12375

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Pitcher with Floral.

The decoration on this pitcher makes it is easy to attribute to William and Charles Wingender of Haddonfield, N.J. They ran the pottery in Haddonfield from 1883 to 1923. This is an earlier work as its salt glaze and cobalt brushed decoration attest.

This beauty features a Rounded Rim, Tooled Neck and Shoulder, Handle with Cobalt Accents at the Terminals, Tapered Sides, Rounded Footer, Brushed Floral Dangling from a Branch Decoration.  This was one of Wingender's signature decorations.  I have always likened it to a strawberry.  Stands 10 3/4" tall.

Very Good Condition.  Nibbling at the spout and chips on the footer on the right side toward the back as shown.   No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Stone ping on the left shoulder in the making.
