Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 4 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "S. Hart, Fulton." 
 
This is the stamp of Samuel Hart who potted in Fulton, New York with this stamp from 1840-1876 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 74-75).
 
This beauty features a Larger Size, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Swipe, Freehand Capacity Number "4", and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip Decoration.  This floral was a signature decoration of this potter.  Bold cobalt!  Measures 11 1/2" tall and 12" wide across the top.

Very Good Condition.  A 9" horizontal hairline up 1" from the base on the back bottom (closeup).  No chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A stone ping by the flower in the making.
