Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this phenomenal Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher and Bowl.

Circa 1840, I believe these pieces are an original set.  The pitcher features the graceful form of 200 years ago with the broad and curved spout, raised handle with thumb grip, long neck, semi-ovoid body, and stepped footer.  The bowl has a grooved rim, rounded sides, and tall footer.  Intricate and dark cobalt sponging.  The pitcher measures 9 1/2" tall and the bowl is 13" tall.

Excellent Condition. Believe it or not, a pinhead size nibble on the thumbgrip of the pitcher and some light scratches inside the bowl from use.  Otherwise as made!
