Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock from the Midwest.
 
Circa 1870, this beauty features a Brushed Cobalt Capacity Number, and Tulip with Five Leaves and a Blossom with Four Petals.  The cobalt is particularly rich.  Measures 11 1/2" tall and 10 3/4" wide across the top.  
 
Good Condition. A 3/8" chip on top of the left handle, a 3/4" chip on the back of the right handle, and an 8" horizontal crack on the bottom of the front and right side with a tail that wraps under 5" (closeup).  No rim or base chips, stains, or restoration.
