Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Stoneware Spongeware 1/2 Gallon Pitcher stamped on the bottom, "Uhl Pottery Co., Huntington, Ind."
 
It was made by the Uhl Pottery of Huntingburg, Indiana (Anna Mary Feldmeyer & Kara Holtzman, Uhl Pottery, 2nd ed., p. 25). 
 
Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty has a Bulbous Base with Tall Neck and Pinched Spout, as well as Gorgeous Blue Sponging!  This form and maker is a perennial favorite with collectors. Measures 7 3/4" tall.
 
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind.
