Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this little Early 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Ovoid Jar.
 
Circa 1820 and coming from the Northeast (probably New York), this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Tooled Rim, and Open Handles.  Stands 8" tall.
 
Good Condition.  Two chips outside the rim (3/16", 3/8"), a 3" hairline from the rim (closeup), and small chips around the base (1/4" or less).  No inner rim chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Four surface drying/firing lines at the base (1" to 2").
