Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock stamped "JBL 1879" [last number could be 0]
I have not been able to identify this potter. I bought the crock in Akron, Ohio with other Ohio pieces, so Ohio may be the state.
This beauty bears the Pottery Stamp and Date, and a Rich Albany Chocolate Glaze. Measures 11" tall and 11" wide across the top.
Exceptional Condition. As made. No damage of any kind.
