    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Jug made for "Calvin Pearson, Grocer, Salina St., Syracuse, N.Y"  

     

    Above the merchant name it is stamped, "Geddes, N.Y." and was made by Charles Hubbell and Dennison Chesebro (1867-87) (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 70).

     

    This beauty features the Merchant Advertising in 3 Lines with Cobalt Wash, the Freehand "3" Capacity Number, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  Stands 14 3/4" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  Some staining near the bottom.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
