Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar made and stamped by the "New York Stoneware Co." 
 
This company was in operation in Fort Edward, New York from 1859-1885.
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Floral Decoration Created with a Slip Cup in Brilliant Cobalt. Stands 11 1/2" tall.
 
Very Good Condition.  Some small and light stains from use, minor nibbles on the inner lid-seating ring and inside the rim, and an amateur restoration of a chip on the rim in the back as shown.
