Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 3 Gallon Crock made in Red Wing, Minnesota at the End  of the 19th Century. 
 
This crock form and decoration is found in Dan DePasquale and Larry Peterson, Red Wing Stoneware Encyclopedia, p. 15. 
 
This beauty features the classic Red Wing "Double P" or "Ribcage" Decoration Drawn with a Slip Cup on a Warm Salt Glaze.  Measures 10 3/4" tall and 10 1/4" wide across the top. 
 
Very Good Condition.  Traces of water glass staining inside and on the back from use.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
