Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous and uncommon Blue and White Spongeware Canister for Granulated Sugar.
 
Circa 1880, this beauty features Four Stripes Framing 3 Panels, with the Center One Featuring the Label "Gran. Sugar". Exceptionally rich and controlled cobalt sponging throughout! Measures 9 7/8" tall.
 
As you know, spongeware canisters are tough to find, especially this beautiful.
 
Very Good Condition.  A very faint 3 1/2" hairline from the rim on the front to just below the first stripe from a 1/4" chip inside (closeup), and two narrow chips on the base (1/4", 3/8").  No stains or restoration.
