Item 12338

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Pitcher made and stamped by the "Beaumont Pottery, Portsmouth, N.H."

It is the work of Jerry Beaumont who inscribed his cross and initials on the bottom.   In my humble opinion, Mr. Beaumont has been and continues to be one of the best contemporary potters in America today.

Dating to the late 1970s, this beauty features the Classic 19th Century Pitcher Form with Tall Neck, Pinched Spout, and Bulbous Body as well as the Pottery Stamp and Two Brushed Cobalt Dotted Tulips on the Front and Cobalt Accents at the Handle Terminals on the Back.  Dark and shiny cobalt makes the decoration pop!  Stands 9" tall.

Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind. A 1/4" stone ping on the front bottom edge in the making.
