Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped in "Harrisburg, PA."  
 
This is the work of William Moyer who ran his pottery in Harrisburg from 1858 to 1860 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 54-55).
 
This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and Two Brush Cobalt Tulips on the Front.  The floral incorporates 4 leaves and 2 blossoms with 9 petals each.  Shiny cobalt.  Stands 14 1/2" tall.  
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A surface drying/firing line under the handle in the making (closeup).
