Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer Canning Jar made by "Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA."
 
This is the work of William Williams and Thomas Reppert who worked together from 1880-1884 and again after 1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).
 
This beauty features the Wax Sealer Form with Grooved Rim, Canted Sides, and the Company Advertising Surrounding a Fancy Floral and Accented at the Bottom by Leaves.  The stencil is complete and crisp. Stands 9 1/2" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A couple monor 1/8" nibbles on the inner rim, a 1/2" chip inside the outer rim, and a few small and light stains on the back.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
