Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 8 Gallon Ovoid Jar made and stamped by "J. McKenzie, Beaver, PA."

This is the stamp of Jonathan McKenzie who worked in Beaver, Pennsylvania from around 1845 through the 1860's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 133-34).

Pieces with this mark are uncommon.  Pieces this 8 Gallon size from Beaver are rare regardless of maker.

This beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Clear Pottery Stamp and Five Freehand Cobalt Fuchsia cascading across the front.   Further accent at handle terminals.  Measures a whopping 17" tall and 14" wide across the top.

Good Condition with Restoration.  Restoration for two adjacent lines from the rim behind the left handle (closeup 1), a line from the rim that curves under the right handle (closeup 2), and a line on the bottom that comes up as a faint 3" line on the front  and 6" line on the back (closeup 3).  Solid and restoration is well-done.
