    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 7 1/4" Tanware Pitcher from New Geneva, Pennsylvania.

     

    During the 1880's the pottery in New Geneva made these pitchers as souvenirs for coming to outings at the pottery.  

     

    This beauty features a Tooled Rim and Shoulder Band, and a Sheaf of Wheat Stenciled 5 Times Around.  Stands 7 1/4" tall.

     

    Very Good Condition.  A 3/8" chip inside the rim (closeup 1) and some nibbling around the tip of the spout (closeup 2).   No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  

     

    An unusual stenciled version of the famous New Geneva tanware pitcher.
