Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Decorated Stoneware Preserve Jar.
 
Its decoration indicates that it was made by the pottery of the Ottman Brothers of Fort Edward, N.Y.  William and Gilbert Ottman who ran their company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).
 
This beauty sports a Freehand Stylized Cornucopia in Bright Cobalt.  This was a standard decoration for Ottman.  Stands 10" tall. 
 
Excellent Condition.  Very minor nibbles on the inner lid-seating ring, and a narrow 3/4" chip inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
