Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 6 1/4" Wax Sealer made for the Merchants "Warden & Barnhart, Pleasant Unity, PA."
I can find only two jars from this town on record and none are 6".
Circa 1880, this beauty features a Rare Small 6 1/4" Size, Wax Sealer Form, and Stenciled Merchant Advertising.
Very Good Condition. Four small chips in the inner rim (3/16" to 5/16"), a narrow 1/4" sliver chip on the base, and a small stain. No outer rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
