Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Orient Beef Extract Cruet made for Quimby & Co..
This cruet was made by Whites Pottery of Utica, N.Y. during their golden age of molded stoneware: 1890-1907.
This beauty features a Cruet Form with a Tall Neck with an Embossed Flower on Each Side, Corded Shoulder Molding, the Product and Company Name in a Cartouche on the Front, A Lady at a Woodburning Stove pouring this Extract into a Cup, and a Fireplace with a Kettle of the Extract Brewing Above the Flames. All the decoration is accented with cobalt. Comes with the original stopper. Stands 7 3/4" tall to the top of the stopper.
Excellent Condition. A pinhead-size nibble on the top of the spout. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration on the cruet or stopper.
