Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 2 Gallon Stoneware Jug attributed to R. T. Williams, of New Geneva, PA.
 
Robert T. Williams who worked in New Geneva from 1882 to 1895 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 168-70).
 
This beauty features Two Leaves and Two Wavy Stripes on the Shoulder, a Large Capacity Number Framed by Comma Vining on the Top Corners and Dashes on the Bottom Corners as it Occupies the Middle, and a Stripe Capping Off the Decoration at the Bottom.  A lot of visual impact!  Stands 14 1/4" tall.
 
Excellent Condition.  A narrow 1 1/2" chip on the right side at the bottom. That's it!  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains or restoration.
