Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Squatty Jug made and stamped by "N. Clark, Jr., Athens, N.Y."
 
This is the stamp of Nathan Clark, Jr. of Athens, N.Y. who ran the family pottery from 1843-1891 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66).
 
This beauty sports a Low and Wide Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip. Bright and shiny cobalt.  Stands 9" tall.  
 
Excellent Condition.  Two chips on the bottom edge (1/4", 1/2") and some wear in the middle on the left side.  No spout chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
