Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Lidded Preserve Jar made for "M. Vanorman, WBarre, PA."
Vanormann was either a merchant who had this jar made or this piece is a personalized jar. Circa 1880.
This beauty features a Shiny Glaze, Tooled Rim, Inscribed Advertising, and Original Lid. Stands 9 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. The jar is as made. No damage. The lid has three flat chips on the underside (1/2, 3/4", 1 1/4") and a 2" line from the rim not visible on top.
Ships double-boxed, insured, and FREE.
