    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher with Unusual Form.

     

    Dating around 1900, this beauty features a Tall and Slightly Canted Rim with Pinched Spout, a Bulbous Base with Rounded Shouder and Canted Side, and a Very Attractive Blue Sponging. Stands 7 3/8" tall.

     

     

    This is a form of spongeware pitcher seldom seen.

     

    Excellent Condition.  Some very tiny nibbles around the base.  That's it!  No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
