Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Early Country 1 Gallon Spongeware Pitcher.

 

Dating around 1870, this beauty features a Tall and Slightly Bulbous Body with Short Neck, Squared Rim, Short and High Handle, and Blue Cloud Sponging.  Not a typical form for spongeware pitchers.  Stands 10 3/4" tall.

 

Excellent Condition.  Even glaze wear around the rim, a 1/4" chip outside the rim near the handle, and a 1 3/4" chip on the base in the back.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
