    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous Blue and White Spongeware Pitcher.  

     

    Dating to the late 19th century, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Pinched Spout, Handle Placed Close to the Side, and Attractive Blue Sponging.  Stands 9" tall.

     

    A less common form of spongeware pitcher than is typically found.  Comes from a small town in southern Ohio.

     

    Excellent Condition.  A minor pinhead-size nibble inside the rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Minor pinhead-size stone ping on one side in the making.
