Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Sweet 1/2 Gallon Cream Pot made by "Jas. Hamilton & Co., Greensboro, PA."
 
James Hamilton ran his pottery in Greensboro from the 1860's to 1880 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 154-157). 
 
Dating to the 1870's, this beauty features a Small Size, and the Company Advertising in Crisp and Complete Letters.  The contrast is strong with a light gray glaze sporting the dark cobalt.  The entire pot has a lovely gloss as well.  Measures 6 1/4" tall and 6 1/2" wide across the top. 
 
Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  A 3/8" clay void on top of the rim on the right side in the making.
